SIDEBRIEF PRIVACY POLICY Last updated: October 30, 2026 Sidebrief is a Chrome extension that shows a meeting brief and links next to your Google Meet calls. This policy explains what we collect, why, and your choices. 1. WHAT WE COLLECT - Your email address and an optional display name, when you create an account. - Meeting briefs, titles, start times, attendee names and links that YOU (or an AI assistant you connect, such as Claude, ChatGPT or Codex) send to Sidebrief. - The Google Meet code of the call you open, only to look up your own brief. - Hashed (one-way) copies of your access code and personal link key, plus a hashed network address used for sign-up abuse limits. 2. WHAT WE DO NOT COLLECT - We do not read, record or transcribe your calls, audio, video or chat. - We do not read your calendar, email or browsing history. Your AI assistant does that on its own side, only when you ask it to. - We do not use analytics, ads or tracking pixels, and we never sell data. 3. HOW WE USE IT Only to show you your own briefs during your calls. Briefs are private to your account: nobody else can read them with their own keys. 4. WHERE IT IS STORED On Supabase (hosted PostgreSQL) with row-level security. Your keys are stored in your browser (chrome.storage) and only as one-way hashes on our servers. 5. SHARING We share data with no one, except the infrastructure provider that hosts it (Supabase) and when required by law. 6. YOUR CHOICES - Delete your account and every brief at any time: Sidebrief > Settings > Privacy > Delete my account. Deletion is immediate and permanent. - Reset your keys at any time in Settings. Old links stop working instantly. - Uninstalling the extension removes your keys from the browser. 7. CHILDREN Sidebrief is not meant for children under 13. 8. CHANGES We will update this page and its date if this policy changes. 9. CONTACT Use the Support tab on Sidebrief's Chrome Web Store page.
